Willie Josephine Powers

Biography: Willie Josephine Powers, 84 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday April 24, 2020 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Josephine was born January 18, 1936 in Cedar Bluff, VA to the late Fred and Ella (Vencill) Witt.  She was also preceded in death by grandson Ryan Seevers; daughter Linda Gail Powers Hurst; and brothers Dewey, Clarence, and Clint Witt.
Josephine is survived by children Peggy Seevers of Bellville, Luther "Mark" (Carol) Powers Jr. of Attica, Judy (Keith) Vinson of Nevada, and Fred Powers of N. Robinson; grandchildren Chad (Ashley) Lucas, Kylene Watts, Angela (Dean) Haldeman, Cheyenne, Dylan, Dustin, Brittany, and Kathy Powers; great grandchildren Lydia Marie, Courtney Mae, Arianna, Quentin, Clara, Cole, and Calla; as well as one sister Emma Jean Presley.
Josephine moved to this area in 1957 from Virginia and retired from the former Galion Iron Works.  Work was her life and she loved working in the vegetable and flower garden, working outdoors, dogs and cats, and being with the grandkids and family.
