Biography: William T. Kibler, 83 of Bucyrus passed away Thursday January 4, 2017 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. William was born December 20, 1934 in New Washington to the late Walter Edward and Gertrude Rose (Miller) Kibler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Mary Angell and brother Vincent Kibler.
William is survived by his longtime companion Beverly Smith; children Annette (Tim) Daniel of Delaware, OH; Karl (Haley Rush) Kibler of Tulsa, OK; Kevin (Lisa Hyder) Kibler of Mansfield; and Peter J. (Beth) Heil of Monnett, OH; 4 step children; grandchildren Ryan, Chad, Adam, Ian, Kyle, Lauren, and Anna Mae; 11 great grandchildren; and sister Lorraine Caris of Virginia.
William was retired from Sprint in 1990 where he worked as a foreman for United Telephone Co. for many years. He lived his entire life in this area and graduated from Galion High School in 1952. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and Member of the Gold Prospectors of America and the Cr. Co. Antique Farm Machinery Assoc. William enjoyed collecting antiques (especially clocks), going to flea markets, fishing, and he loved Oliver Tractors.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, burial will follow in Mother of Sorrow Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. The family suggest memorials be made to the Whetstone Twp. Fire Dept. or the Antique Farm Machinery Assoc. and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
