William J. "Joe" Saunders

William J. “Joe” Saunders, 66 of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday September 27, 2023 at Altercare of Bucyrus.  Joe was born January 31, 1957 in Bucyrus to the late Glenn E. and Esther (Ford) Saunders.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Mary Kay Bolin and brother in law Paul Bolin.

Joe is survived by sisters Joan Saunders and Glenna (Bob) Mink both of Bucyrus, nephews Paul (Sandy) Saunders and Scott (Laurie) Heinle as well as other nephews and a niece.

Joe was a graduate of Bucyrus High School and worked at Bob Evans and Fairway Waycraft and was an Ohio State fan.

A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at Crawford Memory Gardens with Pastor Brad Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Monday from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm at which time the family will proceed to the cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
