William R. Ross

William R. Ross, 93 of Bucyrus passed away on January 2, 2023 at Magnolia Terrace in Galion.  Bill was born March 8, 1929 in Tiffin, OH to the late Richard and Inez (Long) Ross.  He was married September 5, 1954 to Esther (Grau) Ross who preceded him in death on October 13, 2016.  He was also preceded in death by stillborn infant son Mark and 3 brothers Jim, Robert, and Dale Lambright.

Bill is survived by daughter Nancy M. Ross of Sunbury and son Paul W. (Veronica Boebel) Ross of Bucyrus; 2 grandchildren Lydia Boles and Timothy Thompson; and 1 great grandchild Ronin Boles.

Bill Retired from Timken in 1985 and did electrical work.  He was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church.  Bill served in the U.S. Navy during Korea on the USS Sarsfield and the USS Douglass H. Fox.   He served from 1948 until 1953 traveling to many different countries.
