William L. Auck

Biography:  William L. Auck, 73 of rural Bucyrus passed away on Thursday Nov. 10, 2016 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, he had been hospitalized for the past week.  Bill was born June 22, 1943 in Crestline, OH to the late Calvin and Oma Jewel (Bard) Auck.  He was first married in 1968 to Juanita (Dewiel) Auck who preceded him in death in 2004.  In 2008 Bill married Glenna (Kidwell) Coleman Auck who survives.  He was also preceded in death by his step mother Dolly Auck.


Bill is survived by daughter Anita (Ryan) Keene, Bucyrus; step daughter Candi Kuhn and her husband Greg of Bucyrus; sister Mary Turner of Bucyrus; and his very special pet dog “Tia”.  Bill’s other special pet dog “Ziggy” passed away.
Bill lived his entire life in this area and graduated from Mt. Zion High School.  He retired from the Timken Company at 30 years.  He was a member of the Bucyrus Moose Lodge and the Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Assoc. Bill loved his antique tractor, being outdoors, and working in his shop.


Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brokensword Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.  Memorials may be made to the Crawford Antique Farm Machinery Association in his memory and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
