William Charles Davis

Biography:  William Charles Davis, 92 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday December 17, 2016 at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.  William was born April 12, 1924 in Bucyrus to the late Charles Augustus Davis and Carrie Alice (Frost) Davis.  He was married March 15, 1947 to Noveda (Agee) Davis and she survives.  In addition to his wife, William is survived by daughters Trudy (Roger) Kissling, Sycamore; Sandra Welty, Nevada; and Cathy (Jim) Weisenauer, Bloomville; grandchildren Laura Keller, Carey; Marcie Bay, Upper Sandusky; Kail Kissling, Trina Hoover, and Brent Welty all of Nevada; Angee Fortner, Bloomville; and Timothy Weisenauer of Bloomville; and 14 great grandchildren.  William was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 5 sisters.


William lived his entire life in Bucyrus and worked in Construction and plastering for 50 years.  He was formerly a member of the Assembly of God and was a WWII Army Veteran.


Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Burial will be in Oceola Cemetery.  Memorials may be made through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com.
