Wayne Russell

Wayne Adam Russell, age 62, passed away September 16, 2026. Wayne was born to the late Richard and Donna Jean (Masters) Russell January 13, 1964 in Bucyrus Ohio. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents.

Wayne is survived by his 3 children, Andrea (Zach Jay) Russell, Adam Russell, and Ashley Farrow; sister, Robin (James) Temple; grandchildren, Harper, Laylah, and Aiden; nephew, Joe Temple; niece, Nicole (Temple) Emmett; and friends, Teresa Pitt and Brenda Thompson; as well as many other close friends; and 5 fur babies.

Wayne was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church. He graduated from Wynford High School class of 1982. He worked for 20+ years at Whirlpool in the press room. Wayne was a Moose member lodge #669 and a member of the Masons. Wayne always rooted for the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers when watching football. Wayne also had a passion for music, for a few years, he was a roadie for the band ONE7ONE. Which he made friends with some other band’s members and enjoyed going to their shows, bands such as RedLightGo, Bling Crosby, and Scooby Don’t.

The family will receive friends at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Thursday, September 24 from 1PM-3PM. There will be a service following the visiting hours at 3PM, with Tanyce Addison officiating.
