Virginia Rhind

Biography: Virginia Rhind, age 92, passed away at Altercare of Bucyrus December 19, 2019. Virginia was born to the late Wallace and Alpha (Critzer) Rahm May, 24, 1927 in Bucyrus. Virginia is preceded in death by parents, step-father, Carl Durnald; brothers, William Rahm Sr. and Jerry Slayton; sisters, Donna Shepard and Bonnie Trimner; son Richard "Rick" Yates; infant daughter; Susan Sharp.
Virginia is survived by son, Charles (Melanie) Yates of Charlotte NC; daughters, Peggy Sharp of Bucyrus, Nancy (Rick) King of Simpsonville SC, and Shirley (Bob) Ritch of East Sparta, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a resident of Florida for 43 years. She had moved back to Bucyrus about 6 and a half years ago. She loved cooking and baking. She also was an avid CrossStitcher. Virginia also loved animals, she always had a dog around the house. There will be no formal services at this time. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society.
