Sylvia Jeraldine Caldwell

Biography:  Sylvia Jeraldine Caldwell, 82 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Sylvia was born December 9, 1935 in Doran, VA to the late Clarence and Ruth (Pinion) Hagy.  She was married March 31, 1960 to William Caldwell who survives.  She was also preceded in death by brother Robert Hagy and sister Pauline Hagy.

Sylvia is also survived by children Terri (Gary) Parker; Cindy (Doug) Knecht; and Sam (Victoria) Caldwell all of Bucyrus; grandchildren Matthew (Marybeth) Parker of Powell, OH; Adam (Tina) Parker, Travis Knecht, Shaun (Ashley) Knecht, Brandon Knecht, all of Bucyrus and Emilee (Cody) Winzenread of IN; great grandchildren Ashton, Maddyn, Eleanor, and Violet; and sisters Jean North of Stanton VA and Marie Furner of Columbus, OH.

Sylvia moved to Bucyrus from Virginia in 1958.  She formerly worked at Swan, the Bucyrus Hospital, Westinghouse and from 1975 until 1991 drove school bus for Bucyrus City Schools.  Sylvia was a member of Full Gospel Lighthouse Church.  Some years ago Sylvia enjoyed playing horseshoes and walking on stilts.  

At Syvia's request there will be a graveside service on Friday at 2:00 pm at Crawford County Memory Gardens with Rev. Joe LeMaster officiating.  The family suggests memorials be made in the form of contributions to the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
