Susan Kay Cramblett of Galion, Ohio went to be with the Lord peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, June 19, 2025 after an extended illness. She was born on January 21,1947 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Helen Louise Clark Moreland. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen; sister, Sharon “Sherry” Staples; son, Teddy Williams; grandson, Tyler Williams.
Susan, known as Susie by her friends and family, married Forrest Richard “Rich” Cramblett on November 5, 2004 who survives. They enjoyed many happy years and made so many wonderful memories together. Rich was the light and love of her life.
Susie is also survived by her three children: Matthew Williams of Bluffton, South Carolina, Michael (Laura) Williams of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Kendra (Aaron) Hall of Columbus, Ohio, and two step-children, Jen (Derek) Orr of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Brett (Beth) Cramblett of Galion, Ohio.
Susie was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren, Ashley Call, Natalie Williams, Collin Williams, Joshua (Mallorie) Williams, Elijah Williams, Michaelee Williams, Jack Hamm, Maxwell Hamm, Desmond Orr, and Delaney Orr. In addition, Susie was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Jonah Williams, Kyrie Williams, and Alivia Warrick.
Susie was one of five sisters, three of whom are living, Barbara Brady, Peggy (Len) McBride, and Patti (Dave) Utz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Susie had a number of jobs in her younger years and began working for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services in 1991. She retired in 2010.
Susie grew up in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1965. While she spent most of her life living in Bucyrus, her last move was to Galion in 2001. She was an avid reader, and absolutely with family, sisters, children, and grandchildren.
Susie and Rich were active members of the Galion Church of Christ which was an important part of their lives. She was also a member of the local YMCA. Susie’s kind heart, generosity, and sense of humor will be remembered by all who loved and knew her.
The family will be receiving friends at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home from 4PM-6PM Tuesday June 24th. Funeral service to follow visiting hours at 6PM In Lieu memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society or Doctors Without Borders.
