Shirley M. Zucker

Biography:  Shirley M. Zucker, 78 of Chatfield passed away on Saturday May 13, 2017 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Shirley was born March 21, 1939 in Marion OH to the late Evan and Wilma (Chesser) Miller.  She was married April 17, 1965 to Paul E. "Gene" Zucker who preceded her in death May 25, 2004.  She was also preceded in death by infant twin sister Sharon; brothers Dwight, Bobby "BE", and Glen, as well as sister Violet Warwick.
Shirley is survived by son and daughter in law James and Beth Zucker of Bucyrus; step granddaughter Daneil Spiegel of Wimbeldon, England; brother Wayne Miller, Bucyrus; and sister in laws Nancy Miller, Dorothy Brause, and Marsha (Clem) Studer.
Shirley was retired from Timken in 1991 after 30 years.  She attended Bucyrus High School with the Class of 1957 and was a member of College Hill United Church of Christ.  Shirley was a former Deacon at the church and served on the Town Council in Chatfield.  She enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S., taking trips to the casino, her friends at the Amvets where she was a member of the Aux., and she loved her pets, dog "Annie" and cats "Tuffy", "Teenie", and "Shadow".
A Memorial Service will be held at College Hill UCC on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 11:00 am.  The family will receive friends at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service.  Memorials may be made to the College Hill Cemetery Assoc. and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
