Sherrie A. (Sorg) Kline

Biography:  Sherrie A. (Sorg) Kline, 79 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday January 4, 2018 at the Stein Hospice in Sandusky surrounded by her family.  Sherrie was born August 12, 1938 in Seneca County to the late Jessie C. Sorg Sr. and Eulalia B. (Hartzog) Sorg Close.  She was married May 26, 1962 to Robert E. "Bert" Kline who preceded her in death Sept. 24, 2016.  She was also preceded in death by step son Matt Kline; sisters Helen L. Chaffee, Marjorie Zimmerman, and Mary Renfro; as well as one brother Gene C. Sorg.


Sherrie is survived by daughters Joyce (Ron Bloomfield) Dunn, Bucyrus; Judy (Denny) Enders, Bloomville; and Patti (Gary) Schifer, Bucyrus; grandchildren Casey (Kasey) Gillen, Cory Gillen, Nick (Jessica ) Enders, Adam (Melinda Teynor) Enders, Jordan (Elyse Teynor) Thompson, and Kylie (Andy Korner) Thompson; great grandchildren Brady, Brody, and Lexi Enders; Seth Daulhausen and Reid Gillen; brothers Jessie C. Sorg Jr of Indiana and Richard (Judy) Close of Bucyrus.


Sherrie last worked at Westinghouse in Upper Sandusky and prior to that had worked at J.C.Penny, The Stage, and Ulmanns, had waitressed at the L&K several years ago, and more recently at the Daily Scoop.  She was a member of the Bucyrus Ladies of the Moose and was a longtime Board Member of the Crawford County Humane Society and the Bratwurst Festival.  Several years ago she served as President of the Band Parents.  Sherrie's hobbies included Crocheting, painting, reading, and working in the flower garden.


Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, 3590 St. Rt. 98, Bucyrus or the Stein Hospice,1912 Hayes Ave. Sandusky, OH  44870.  The Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
