Shannon R. Byrum

Biography:  Shannon R. Byrum, 45 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday September 3, 2017 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident.  Shannon was born April 18, 1972 in Bucyrus to the late Nellie (Agee) Byrum and Carroll Byrum who survives in Bucyrus.  In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by brother Russ.  Shannon is also survived by daughter Amber (Dustin) Johns, granddaughter Arabella, and brother Rodney Byrum all of Bucyrus.
 

Shannon was well known as a musician, performing in this area as well as Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas.  He graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1990 where he was active in the marching band.  Shannon loved his motorcycle and was an avid rider.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Bernie France officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
