Sean A. Murray

Biography: Sean A. Murray, 51, is well fortified with the sacraments on Saturday March 12, 2022.  Sean was born June 6, 1970 in Columbus to the late Hugh and JoEllen (Lilly) Murray.  He was married September 26, 2014 to Marie (Boyd) Murray who survives.  In addition to his wife, Sean is survived by son Joseph Murray and Father and Mother in Law John and Teresa Boyd of Dayton. 

Sean was a substitute Teacher in Crawford and Richland County Schools.  He graduated from the Cincinnati Academy of Immaculate Conception and from the Ohio State University with a degree in History.  He was also a 3rd Order Benedictine Monk.   

Sean enjoyed reading and History.  He was very religious and as a good communicator helped people unsure of their faith.  Sean also homeschooled his son Joseph. 

Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church in Sulphur Springs with burial to follow in Union Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.  The rosary will be recited at 6:45 pm on Thursday with Father Gabriel Lavery. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home.
