Ruth A. Fox

Ruth A. Fox, 81 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday May 31, 2025 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Ruth was born August 3, 1943 in Tiffin, Ohio to the late John “Jack” and Mary Alice (Rumschlag) Lambright. She was married June 25, 1966 to Don Fox who preceded her in death on May 20, 2019. Ruth was also preceded in death by daughters Barbara and Donna as well as son Jerome.

Ruth is survived by son Joseph Fox of Bucyrus; grandson Greyson Vanover; sister Mary Jane Peter of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and son in law, Tom Watts.

Ruth graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School in 1961 and furthered her education at Sienna Heights and Heidelberg College. She worked and taught for several years at St. Mary’s in Tiffin, Holy Trinity in Bucyrus, the YMCA Pre-School, and Fairway. Ruth was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday June 10, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Paul Fahrbach as Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass.
