Ruth Ellen Harriger

Biography: Ruth Ellen Harriger, 60 formerly of Bucyrus and for the last 10 years a resident of Shelby, passed away on Sunday Jan. 17, 2016 at Crestview Care Center in Shelby. Ruth was born Aug. 6, 1955 in Bucyrus to the late Marion and Dorothy (Thomas) Harriger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother John “Jack” Harriger. Ruth is survived by sisters Linda (Charles) Hedges, Delaware, OH and Peggy (Paul) Ammons of McCutchenville, OH.
Ruth graduated from Bucyrus High School and worked for a time at Angeline Industries.
A graveside service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery for the family. The Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
