Rosellen L. Lewis

Biography:  Rosellen L. Lewis, 74 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday November 19, 2018 at home.  Rosellen was born May 3, 1944 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Chester Smith and Margaret Ann (Brown) Snyder.  She was also preceded in death by husband Arthur Wayne Lewis Jr; daughter Peggy Sue Moore; son David Leroy Lewis; brothers Raymond, Clifton, and Clifford Smith; sister Jean Crow; and Troy Wade who was like an adopted son.


Rosellen is survived by children Kim (Paul) Cross, Bucyrus; Clifton (Kathy Lane) Lewis Bucyrus; LaRosea McClain, Bucyrus; Penny Charleston of Bucyrus; and Laurie York of Bucyrus; dear friend Judy Haverstein of Bucyrus; grandchildren Matthew McClain, Joseph Charleston, Anissa Surgener, and Angelica Cross; great grandchildren Grace, Brynley, Emma, Gunnar, Brycen, Breyona, Aalyiah, Allen, Samuel, and McKinley; one broher Carl Smith and his wife Fran Lantz of Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.​
 
Rosellen grew up in Barberton and lived most of her life in Bucyrus.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting things such as skunks and keychains.  She also liked stuffed animals that played music and Elvis Presley music and movies.​
 
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday evening at 5:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to Hope (Helping our pets everywhere) which is a sister organization of the Wyandot County Humane Society.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
