Robert P. Clinard

Biography: Robert P. Clinard, 55 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday May 25, 2018 at O.S.U. Hospital in Columbus. Robert was born December 23, 1962 in Bucyrus to the late George Clinard and Eulanda (Tidaback) Clinard who survives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by son Jared one year ago.
Robert is also survived by his wife Cindy (Traxler) Clinard who he married November 6, 1981; son Justin (Lauren Kibler) Clinard of Bucyrus; grandchilren Jayce and Cole Clinard; siblings Larry Clinard, Sharon (Danny Lester) Spears, Debbie (Tim) Ley, and Kathie Riley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was a lifelong Bucyrus resident and graduate of Bucyrus High School in 1980 and worked at Checkmate Boats for several years. For many years Bob also trained Standardbred horse's at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, auctions, and he was a collector.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 4:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Ray LaSalle officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of the service on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society or the Donor's choice and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
