Richard H. Bush, 90 of Mansfield passed away on Monday October 26, 2026, in Mansfield, he was formerly of rural Crestline. Richard was born July 26, 1936, in Bucyrus to the late Henry H. and Mary Ada (Gearhart) Bush. He was married December 28, 1959, to Joycelyn Sue (Johns) Bush who survives. Richard is also survived by children Debbie Riley of Mt. Gilead, Richard Alan (Myra) Bush of Reynoldsburg, Joycelyn (Troy) McNair of Mansfield, Michael (Lauren) Bush of Upper Sandusky, and Vera (Greg) Gwirtz of Crestline; 16 grandchildren as well as numerous great and great great grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Sarah Wall, grandson Timothy Searls, brother and sister-in-law Donald and Josephine Bush, sisters and brothers in laws Betty and Franklin Armstrong and Helen and William Biglin; and son in law Jerry Riley

Richard served in the U.S. Army and worked in construction most of his life. He drove concrete trucks for Wyandot Concrete and last for Moritz of Mansfield. Richard was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and was also a lifetime member of Galion AMVETS Post #1979.

For several years Richard played the guitar and sang Gospel and Bluegrass music. He enjoyed fishing, morning walks, taking day trips with his wife, and being active in Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 3:00 pm in the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor David Patrick officiating and burial to follow in Sandusky Twp. Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. The family suggests memorials be in the form of contributions to Calvary Baptist Church.
