Raymond Darnell

Biography:  Raymond Darnell, 94, passed away September 4, 2016. Raymond was born to the late Willie B. and Fay D. (Perkins) Darnell on March 11, 1922. Raymond is preceded in death by wife, Lucille (McKendree) Darnell.
 
Raymond is survived by son, Ray (Shelley) Darnell; daughter, Lou Ann (Ronald) Ricker; grandchildren, Aaron Darnell, Nathan Darnell, Cresha (Bill) Auck-Foley, and Laura Ricker; as well as many great-grandchildren.
 
Raymond was very proud of his service in the Army for this country. Even when Raymond retired from work, he was still constantly busy tinkering and working around the house. Raymond was also a lifetime member of the legion.
 
The family will receive friends from 11 am until time of service at 12 noon Thursday September 8th.  Officiating is Pastor Tom Gruver. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
