Randy Wayne Smith

Randy Wayne Smith, 60 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday June 4, 2026, at home. Randy was born April 2, 1966, in Bucyrus to the late Larry D. Smith and Helen J. (Dauchenbaugh) Stamper. He was also preceded in death by stepfather Talmadge Stamper, great niece Harly Shope, paternal grandparents Lawrence and Beulah Smith and Virginia Holt.

Randy is survived by sister Rebecca (Bill Arnold) Shope of Bucyrus; nieces and nephews that include Darrell and Ashley Shope of Tollsboro, KY, Crystal and James Myers of Galion, Cody and Ciera Shope of Bucyrus, and Shannan Shope of Bucyrus, 7 great nieces and nephews, and 2 great great nieces and nephews.

Randy worked at several area factories and for the past 7 years at IB TECH. He graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1985 and lived his entire life in Bucyrus. Randy was an avid skateboarder and bicycler. He was also a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Washington Redskins.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Ted Thomas officiating. The Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnsitll.com
