Pauline M. Jacobs

Pauline M. Jacobs, age 93, went to be with the Lord September 25, 2026. Pauline was born to the late Carl and Belva Mae (Shank) Bucher March 25, 1933 in Bucyrus Ohio. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Haycook; daughter, Teena Bryant; brothers, Paul Bucher, Thomas Bucher, and Raymond Bucher; sister Wendy Clark.

Pauline is survived by her children, Roger (Jude) Haycook, Robin (Gary Miller) Fry, Judy (Russell) Ramage, Gale Newland, and Sally (Jim) Price; brother, Herbert (Judy) Bucher; sisters Janet Zeger and Becky (Larry) Smith; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 43 great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Pauline was a graduate of Mt Zion School class of 1952. She worked for 23 years at General Electric, before retiring in 1993. Pauline had attended Woodlawn United Methodist Church for many years and was a former moose member of both Bucyrus #669 and Galion #303. While with the Moose she was also in the Women of the Moose Bucyrus Chapter 741, where she was a past Senior Regent.

Pauline was a socialite; she enjoyed playing cards with friends and was in a bowling league for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, gardening, and canning. Her lawn was always kept tidy; she made sure she would have it mowed and loved tending to her landscaping. She will be missed by all that knew her.

The family will be receiving friends at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, Wednesday September 30th from 3PM-6PM. Funeral services will be Thursday, at 11AM at Munz-Pirnstill.
