Pamela Sue Shull

November 29, 1954 — January 22, 2022

Biography: Pamela Sue Shull, 67 of rural Bucyrus passed away on Saturday January 22, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.  Pam was born November 29, 1954 in Bucyrus to the late Robert and Pauline (Heffley) Smith.  She was married April 20, 1974 to Randall Shull who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother-in-law John Pope and father and mother-in-law Richard Shull and Pauline Newland. 

Pam is also survived by sons Chad, Jason (Maunaka), and Kyle (Brenda); grandchildren Aiden, Karlee, Preston, Kaleb, Isaiah, and Olivia; siblings Don (Judy) Smith, Dale (Pat) Smith, Tom (Elsie) Smith, Jack (Nancy) Smith, Joann (Jack) Hesse, Janet (Paul) Poignon, Virginia (John) Poland, and Dian Pope; co-father in law Ron (Gerri Jaskiewicz) Newland; brother and sister in law Mike and Connie Shull; many nieces and nephews; and nurse friends Kaye and Sue. 
Pam graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1973 and was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in North Robinson.  She worked for over 30 years managing doctor's offices in Galion and retired from Avita. 

Pam enjoyed travel and the outdoors.  She enjoyed vacations at Mom and Ron's Place in Michigan and hiking in the Hocking Hills.  She traveled to Hawaii twice and one of the highlights was hiking in the pre-dawn darkness with Randy and friend Ed. They hiked to the top of Diamond Head to view the sunrise over Waikaki Beach from atop an abandoned military pill box. 

Pam was a longtime 4-H mom and enjoyed following the kids' football, baseball and sporting events.  She traveled and showed sheep at many shows throughout Ohio with her family.  Having had no daughters, Pam especially enjoyed the occasional "girls shopping trip" with Karlee.  Pam also enjoyed NASCAR at Pocono, Charolett, and Vegas. 
Pam's days were started in the sunroom watching birds and drinking coffee with Randy. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm in the St. Paul Lutheran Church, North Robinson with Pastor Jarod Schaaf officiating, burial will follow in Campbell Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Wednesday where the family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Memorials may be made to the Church or the Colonel Crawford Lions Club through the funeral home.
