Otis C. Shearer

Otis C. Shearer, 79 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Otis was born February 27, 1946 in Bucyrus to the late Robert M. and Hazel C. (Gingery) Shearer. He was married June 8, 1968 to Carol (Fegley) Shearer who survives. He is also survived by sister Norma (Jerry) Brown of Bucyrus; sister in laws Norma Fegley Burke, Judy Fegley, and Karen Shearer; brother in law Jerry (Rita) Fegley; as well as nieces and cousins. In addition to his parents, Otis was preceded in death by brother Michael.

Otis graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1964 and retired from Timken after 30 years in 1999 and he also owned the C-Hawk Trailer Company. Otis also had been a part owner of the Mad Bull in Bucyrus. He had many interests and enjoyed hunting, camping in the semi motorhome that he built, and motorcycle trips with Carol. Otis was an long time member of the Eliminators Car Club in Bucyrus.
