Noel A. “Willie” Williams

Biography: Noel A. “Willie” Williams, 81 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday June 11, 2017 at Heartland of Bucyrus.  He was a resident at Heartland for the past year and a half and made many new friends.


Willie was born Nov. 8, 1935 at his home in Nevada, OH to the late Harold and Velma (Kissling) Williams.  He married Donna Edwards Leuthold on Feb. 20 and they shared 30 years together.  He is also survived by brothers Art (Donna) Williams and Mike (Candy) Williams; two stepsons Sean and Shane (Jenni) Leuthold; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews,  special in laws Melvin (Rita) Edwards, Kenny (Rita) Edgington, Mike (Cindy) Miller, Paul (Kathy) Usher, Cindy Edwards, and Larry Leuthold.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son Dennis Williams, brother James Williams; uncle Robert and aunt Maxine Kissling; as well as brother in law Larry Edwards.


Willie graduated from Nevada high School in 1953 and retired from Morral Chemical Co. in 1977 after 30 years of service.  He loved animals and especially cats which over the years he spent many hours with.  He was a member of the Crawford County Humane Society and enjoyed golfing and watching Ohio sporting events.


Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 8:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Skiles officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until the time of service.  Memorials may be made to the Humane Society shelter to help with care of animals.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
