Biography: Michele Johns, 46 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday October 12, 2017 at home, her death was unexpected. Michele was born June 15, 1971 in Bucyrus to the late David K. Spence and Brenda (Bowman) Riley of Bucyrus. She was married Sept. 8, 1990 to Ed Johns who survives. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by brother Michael Stamper.
Michele is also survived by sons Dusty (Amber) Johns; Nate (Amber Rose) Johns; Eric Johns; and Camron Johns; grandchild Bella; step father Gary Riley; siblings Vivian (Emre) Berk, Troy (Anita) Riley, Shawn (Tracey) Riley, Rocko Riley, and Tammy (Bill) Butterman, father and mother in law Bud and Linda Johns; brother and sister in laws Mike Johns, Kelly (Jeff Buckley) Johns, Shawn Johns, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michele graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1989 and Tri-Rivers Nursing School in 1990. She was the Admissions Coordinator of Altercare of Bucyrus for several years. Michele was a very caring and compassionate person. That love of people is what led her to pursue a career in Nursing. She loved her job at Altercare where she was able to work with and reach more people in her community. She participated in Meals on Wheels, delivered fans in the summer for Council on Aging, called bingo at the Senior Center, donated and participated in Kiwanis, Relay for Life, and the Alzheimer’s Walk as well as Voice of Hope.
Married for 27 years, Michele’s family was the other half of her life. She always said she was very blessed with a husband, four sons, daughter in law and granddaughter.
The world has been blessed to have Michele Johns leave a mark on every person she ever came in contact with. She will be truly missed, but we know she is in Heaven, in charge and decorating, she is an Angel.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 7:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Noblit officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to Voice of Hope and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held next weekend.
