Michael E. Jones, 59 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday February 14, 2026 at Mill Creek Nursing Home in Galion. Michael was born December 2, 1966 in Bucyrus to the late Charles Jones and Judith (Barlow) Jones Hopkins of Marion. In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by step father John Hopkins; brother Steve (Penny) Jones of Bucyrus; sister Michelle (Robert) McClish of Marysville, OH; as well as nieces and nephews Taylor McClish, Charlie McClish, Alex Jones, and Kinzee (Joe) Fields; and great Nephew Joey Fields.

Mike graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1985 and was a truck driver for several years.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 17, 2026 at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Orr officiating, burial will follow in Whetstone Cemetery.
