Mathew Jay Walter, 65 of Prospect, Ohio passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2024 at home. Matt was born April 22, 1959 in Bucyrus to the late Richard and Catherine (Thomas) Walter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Thomas and Michael Walter.
Mathew is survived by son Chris Walter of Troy, OH; daughter Samantha (Nick) Felhaber of Columbus; and brother Joseph (Julie) Walter of Charlotte, MI.
Matt graduated from Bucyrus High School and lived in the Delaware-Prospect area for several years. He retired from Honda in E. Liberty. Matt was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday November 8, 2024 at 2:30 pm in the Oakwood Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
