Mary Lou Dewiel, age 78, passed away at Villa Springs March 21, 2026. Mary was born to the late Ephraim and Eleanor (Shiffer) Mackling May 9, 1947 in Bucyrus Ohio. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Don Dewiel who passed in 1998, they were married 34 years; brother, Donald Mackling; sister Shirley Alt; son-in-law, Sean Tieben; brother-in-law, John Alt; sister-in-law, June Mackling.

Mary is survived by children, Susan Tieben and Todd (Ranee) Dewiel; grandchildren, Sarah (Colton) Grant, Addelyn Dewiel, and Jack Dewiel; nephews, Erick (Heather) Mackling and Gary (Tonya) Alt; niece, Kathy Fuller; great-nieces and nephews, Daniel, Beth, and Kelley.

Mary worked for many years at Scott Chiropractic and also at the Struble Drugs store in Bucyrus. Mary was a graduate of Bucyrus High School class of 1965. Mary was a former member of The Moose and The Elks of Bucyrus. She loved watching baseball and would always be rooting for the Cleveland Indians.
