Martha "Marty" Jean Hayes

Biography: Martha "Marty" Jean Hayes, age 71, went to be with the Lord May 13, 2020. Marty was born on September 30, 1948 in Nashville, Indiana to the late Charles William Harden and Juanita June Harden. In addition to her parents, Marty was preceded in death by her brothers Dave Harden and Herman Harden, and her sister Avis Smith.
Marty is survived by her husband of 13 years, Matthew Hayes; daughters Stephanie (Kevin Pierce) Auck and Amanda (Kevin) Myers; grandchildren Kobie Naufzinger, Kendall Naufzinger, Jozylyn Benedict, & Samuel Benedict; great grandson Kayden Benedict; brothers Charles (Debbie) Harden and Bobby Harden; sister, Lynda (Cam Conley) Preston; nieces and nephews Andrea, Justin, Maran, Billie Jo, Billy, Tyler, Candace, Chasity, Travis, Katie, Heather, and Nichole.
Marty enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church. She was a former member of the Women of the Moose, and she worked for many years at BPT as well as Heartland of Bucyrus.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 18, 2020 from 10:30AM until Noon at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. There will be a graveside committal service at Oakwood Cemetery immediately following. Memorials may be made to Good Hope Lutheran Church Organ Fund, Shriners Hospital, or St. Jude's. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
