Marilyn Annette Murphy

Biography:  Marilyn Annette Murphy, age 80 formerly of Bucyrus and most recently of San Marcos, TX passed away early on Monday May 7, 2018 in Portland TX.  Marilyn was born January 15, 1938 in Bucyrus Ohio to the late Earl Richard and Myrtle (Reichard) Magers. She was married June 2, 1957 to Glenn S. Murphy who preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1994.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother Richard Wayne Magers and nephew Michael Schultz.
 
 
Marilyn is survived by children Rae Ann Boyd of Austin TX; Randy Murphy of Midlothian TX; Cheryl and husband Gerhard Berberich of Youngstown; and Jeff and wife Mandy Murphy of Cedar Hill,TX; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and sister Virginia Schultz of Bucyrus.
 
Marilyn was a homemaker who lived most of her life in Bucyrus until moving to Texas to be cared for by her daughter.  She was a graduate of Bucyrus High School in 1956 and member of Good Hope Lutheran Church.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Renee Ahern officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the Good Hope Lutheran Church through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com.
