M. Leroy Lawhun

Biography:  M. Leroy Lawhun, age 66, passed away January 6th 2016 after an extended illness. Leroy was born March 6th, 1949 in Garrison, Kentucky to the late Eugene and Wilda Lawhun. He moved to Bucyrus at a young age and has resided here since. In addition to his parents, Leroy was preceded in death by brother Darrell Lawhun and sister Othela Lawhun; brother in laws Estil Stone, Herb Malone, and Larry Teets.
Leroy is survived by his significant other Pam Lewis; daughters, Sheri (Steve) Young and Jackie (David) Heinle; brother, Corless “Bud” (Jane) Lawhun; sisters, Leatha Stone-Malone and Lena Teets (Dean); grandchildren, Kyle (Sijie) Belcher, Jamee Burke, Matt Young, Chaz Akers, and Stacy Heinle; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Lindsey Akers as well as several nieces and nephews.
Leroy enjoyed spending time with the grandkids and other family anytime. The family will receive friends from 2-4 on Sunday at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. A burial service will be held by the family at a later date at Crawford County Memory Gardens with Pastor Brandon Quail officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made through the funeral home.
