Lyle Dean Burling

Lyle Dean Burling, 66 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday April 16, 2023 at home following a battle with cancer.  Lyle was born September 1, 1956 in Bucyrus to the late John and Shirley (Mills) Burling Smith Nelson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by infant sister Janet Kay.

Lyle is survived by sons John and Lyle Jr.; brothers Randy (June) Burling of Bucyrus and Curtis Burling of Marion; sisters Jean Syer and Paula Sandlin both of Bucyrus and Elizabeth Coonrod of New Mexico; special grandchildren Emaleigh, Caiden and children Harrison and Vaida, Kaila and her daughter Harper; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lyle retired from Timken after working over 20 years.  He enjoyed fishing, cooking, camping, playing poker, shooting pool, playing horseshoes and cornhole.

A graveside service will be held on Friday May 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Oakwood Cemetery.  Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
