Lura Mae Foster, a long-time resident of Bucyrus, Ohio, was the daughter of Lee Andrew and Icey McQueary of Kentucky. For the last 10 years she was a resident of Unger Park Acute nursing home where the staff lovingly cared for her.

She was a regular attendant at the Bucyrus Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed bluegrass and gospel music, and in her younger years, she often times would play her guitar and sing in church.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Jerry) Miller, Freddie (Teresa) Foster, Lori West, and Jeremy Foster; Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Rosetta McQueary, and Edna McQueary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son James Lee Foster; brothers Delmer McQueary, Chrisman McQueary, and two infant brothers; son-in-law William West.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 26th from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
