Lucy Smith

Biography:  Lucy Smith, age 84, passed away peacefully February 5, 2018 at Bucyrus Community Hospital surrounded by family.  Lucy was born to the late Pled and Callie (Vance) Pinion June 3, 1933 in Swords Creek Virginia. Lucy is preceded in death by parents, son, Donald Smith; sisters, Carrie Strouth and Frances Smith; brothers, Estel Pinion, Porter Pinion, and Ferrel Pinion.


Lucy is survived by husband of 62 years, Audrey Smith; sons, Rick (Robin) Smith and Tim Smith; daughter-in-law, Sandy Smith; sisters, Loriene Musselwhite and Callie Irene Honaker, as well as grandchildren Terri, Jeremy, Ashley, Josh, Chelsea and Paige; 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.


 
Lucy was a lifetime member of the Amvets Auxiliary  Post #27 and also a member of Bucyrus Moose Lodge #669. She worked with Tecumseh of Marion for a number of years. Lucy enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to garage sales to find great bargains.


 
Visiting hours are Friday February 9 from 11PM to 1PM at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. The Service is at 1PM following calling hours at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Association. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
