Lonnie R. Patton

Biography: Lonnie R. Patton, 74 of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday March 25, 2020 at home.  Lonnie was born September 2, 1945 to the late John W. and Catherine Grace (Scherer) Patton. He was married May 4, 1974 to Bonnie (Bartz) Patton who preceded him in death on May 28, 1999. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers Larry and Terry Patton.
Lonnie is survived by siblings Jim (Patricia) Heinlen, Bucyrus; sisters Nancy (Dan) Clutter, Bucyrus; Candy Christian, Bucyrus; and Jane (Jerry) Mahl of Norwalk; nieces and nephews Amanda and Felicia Christian, Nick Webber, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Lonnie lived his entire life in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1964.  He was an  Army Veteran for over 20 years and retired from Artic Cat after 14 years.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am in Oakwood Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill@hotmail.com.  If unable to attend services, cards may be sent to Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, 215 N. Walnut St. where they will be forwarded to the family
