Obituary

Lloyd E. Heinle, 88 of Bucyrus passed away peacefully on Monday March 2, 2026 at home. Lloyd was born May 10, 1937 in rural Bucyrus to the late Clyde Heinle and Hazel Lust. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his two step dads Lee Zehner and Wilbur Lutz.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 61 years Linda (Yingst) Heinle; son and daughter in law David and Jackie Heinle of Brokensword; grandchildren Tiffany, Stacy, and Mary Kate all of Bucyrus, Jessie of Columbus, and step grandson Chaz of Bucyrus; 3 great grandchildren; brother Tom Heinle of Bucyrus, and sisters Becky Myles of Bucyrus and Sally Eley of Upper Sandusky. He was preceded in death by son Daniel Heinle as well as brother in laws John Myles and John Eley.

Lloyd was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He worked hard his entire life mostly at Cobey Manufacturing and then Checkmate Boats. He loved the outside, working in the barn and garage. Lloyd was a member of the Crawford County Antique Tractor Club.

At Lloyd’s request a graveside service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Nevada Cemetery with Pastor Ted Thomas officiating. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com. And memorial contributions can be made to the Crawford County Antique Tractor Association.
