Linda Louise Wanamaker, age 68, passed away at Marion General Hospital, January 2nd, 2023. Linda was born to the late Newton and Genevieve (Wirth) Patterson June 5, 1954 in Mt Carmel Illinois. Linda married the love of her life and dance partner, John Wanamaker, June 16, 1989. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; sisters,  Patty Patterson and Diana Spencer.

Linda is survived by husband of 33 years, John Wanamaker; sons, Tobey (Jill) Stoffer and John Wanamaker; grandchildren Hayli, Gage (Paige) Stoffer,  Seth Wanamaker, Chelsea Webster; and great-grandchildren, Freyja and Tobey; sister, Brenda (Louie) Reinhart as well as several nieces and nephews.

Linda and John worked together to form TLC Medical Supply and Mobile Radiology Associates for which she managed appointments and the book keeping. Linda had also taught with her cosmetology license so others could learn to be beauticians.  Linda was a member of St John's United Church of Christ.

Linda was a member of the Moose, Amvets, VFW in Cambridge, and Eagles Club of Cambridge. Linda and John were always recognized anywhere they went as the dancing couple. They would take trips to visit the old homestead and stay there and reminiscence on where they came from. Linda loved her family deeply and would always be there for anything they needed and would go above and beyond for any of them.

Visiting hours are Monday January 9th at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home from 11AM-1PM. There will be a service following visitation at 1PM. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes association. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
