Lianne Marie Powers

Lianne Marie Powers, age 65, went to be with the Lord, August 14, 2026. Lianne was born to the late Edwin Powers and Mary (Stoufer) Denzer March 30, 1960 in Bucyrus Ohio. Lianne was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Kenyon Newcomer; sisters, Brenda Powers and Sherri Powers; significant other, Dean Ward.

Lianne is survived by her daughters, Denna (Kincade) Stanley and Scott Stanley and Amber (Nash) Newcomer with Nate Young; step-mother, Ellen Powers; brother, Ogier Johns; step-brother, Kevin Haycook; granddaughter, Shelby (Newcomer) Mowry with Paul Mowry; grandson, Koltyn Young; great-granddaughter, Landry Mowry; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lianne worked for a number of years at Creative Plastics in Sycamore Ohio. She was a socialite and enjoyed going out and spending time with friends. Lianne loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. For many years she’d take trips to lake Eerie, where she’d go out on a charter boat with her dad, and relax up at the lakes on many summer weekends.

The family will receive friends at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, Friday, August 21st, from 4PM-6PM. There will be a service following the visiting hours at 6PM at Munz-Pirnstill. Private graveside services at Oakwood Cemetery will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health Hospice or American Cancer Association.
