Leonard Dean Nickler

Leonard Dean Nickler of Bucyrus passed away on Friday August 28, 2026, he was 62 years of age. Leonard was born May 12, 1964, in Bucyrus to the late Lloyd D. Nickler Sr. and Margaret Christine (Charlton) Nickler. Leonard was married May 18, 1991, to Tami (Reager) Nickler who survives along with four children all of Bucyrus; Casey (Danyelle) Nickler, Ryan (Destiny) Nickler, Cody (Mary) Nickler, and Kylie (Brock) Lykens; 9 grandchildren, Parker, Cooper, Leion, Elizabeth, Aubrie, Ivory, Lincoln, Maverick, and Daxton; sisters Shirley (Luke) Chapman, Debra (Joseph) Barciz, Priscilla (Ron) Haycook, and Lloyd (Bob Richardson) Nickler; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Leonard graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1983 and lived his entire life in the community. He worked for Wendy’s in maintenance prior to his work at Advanced Fiber in Bucyrus for nearly 20 years.

Leonard enjoyed family vacations, being outdoors, collecting guns and having a passion for shooting, NASCAR, spending time with Tami, his children, and being a Superhero to his grandchildren. Leonard was always available to help others.
