LeeAnn C. Dalton, 47, of Bucyrus, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Mansfield Ohio Health from complications due to the stage four lung and bone cancer diagnosis she received almost two years ago. LeeAnn fought this devastating diagnosis with everything she had, until her last breath. LeeAnn had so many hopes and dreams for the future. One dream was to see her beautiful daughter, Jada, graduate high school and she was able to do that. A second dream was to watch her son, Cody, become a police officer and she was able to do that.
LeeAnn was born March 13, 1979 in Bucyrus to Roger L. Knell of Sycamore and Nancy (Bloomfield) Knell of Bucyrus. In addition to her parents, she is survived by children Cody (Kayli) Dalton and Jada (Haydn) Dalton, sisters Carmela (Gabe) Clark and her son Garric Blankenship and significant other Tressa, Marla (Brian) Hobson and sons Tyler (Haley) Morgan and their children Emileea and River, and Dylan (Summer) Morgan and her son Leon, her “sexy man”, Philip Zehner, who loved her very much, and his children and grandchildren, as well as numerous aunts and uncles and other family members. She was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles who loved her very much, and her precious mother-in-law Mary Dalton. Their bond was never broken.
LeeAnn graduated from Pioneer in 1997 and last worked at IB Tech. LeeAnn loved her children, family and friends fiercely and was a true ride or die for everyone she loved. LeeAnn’s children, family and friends will forever miss her.
