Kenneth Calvin Aurand Sr.

Kenneth Calvin Aurand, Sr. 70 of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday June 22, 2024. Kenneth was born July 20, 1953 in Bucyrus to the late Calvin and Vivian (Khnierm) Aurand. He married the love of his life, Winnie (Cooper) Aurand on March 21, 1981.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Winnie and six children, Kim (Rudi) Thomas, Jessica (Randy) Bashore, Jenny (John) Goodin, Brad (Rachel) Aurand, Rosetta Aurand, and Kenneth (Chrystal) Aurand Jr.; many grandchildren Opal Thomas, Brittney Bashore, Zach, Wyatt, Trenton, and Alex Young, Jacob Goodin, Isaiah, Landon, Aiden, and Draven Aurand, Autumn, Dawson and Jarryn Brown, Jennifer, Devin, and Kayden Aurand, and Elizabeth Swander; brother Larry Daughenbaugh and lifetime best friend Bryan Shock, as well as many more nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by sister Carolyn Weisenauer.

Kenneth worked at American Standard for over 30 years where he medically retired due to receiving a heart transplant in December of 2005.
