Biography: Kathryn Alice Stander “Allie”, age 73, went to be with the Lord June 25, 2018. Allie was born to the late Charles and Mary “Zornes” Young January 3, 1945 in Lykens, Ohio. Allie and James Stander married Feb. 14, 1969. Allie is preceded in death by parents; son, Billy Stander; 2 brothers, Carl Young and Adam Young; sister, Dorthy Young.
Allie is survived by husband, James Stander; sons,Tracy (Kaylyn) Stander and Chad (Karla) Stander; 8 grandchildren, Chelsea, Kelsey, Nick, Ashlee, Kaleb, Holden, Jonathan, and C.J.; 6 great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Makenzie, Sage, Jase, Max, and Kourtney; brothers and sisters, Clifton (Kathleen) Young, George (Sally) Young, Marjorie Young, Janet (Frank) Klahn, Jean (Levi) Miller, Dian (Danny) Tompkins, Wanda (Stan) Rupinski, Mary (Bill) Weber, Bonnie (Dennis) Metzger, and Sharon Gallant; sister-in-law, Ann Young as well as several nieces and nephews.
Allie graduated from Lykens schools. She worked with Timken and GE for a number of years. She was a member and attended the Pentecostal Tabernacle of Oceola. Allie loved spending time with her grandkids and enjoyed camping when she could.
Services will be Wednesday June 27, at 1PM at Pentecostal Tabernacle of Oceola. There will be 2 hours prior to the service from 11AM-1PM for visiting hours with friends and family at the church. Reverend Carl Angel will be officiating services with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made through the funeral home.
