Joyce E. Rettig Leeth Hollenbaugh

Joyce E. Rettig Leeth Hollenbaugh, 92 of Marion, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Monday July 27, 2026, at Meadows of Marion. Joyce was born October 9, 1933, in Nevada, Ohio to the late Leroy and Beatrice (Hirtz) Rettig. She was also preceded in death by son Rodney Echelberry; brothers Clarence and Glenn Rettig; sisters Maxine Hines, Helen Laippley, Wanda Lawhead, and Janiece Yosick; and son in law William “Ken” Adkins.

Joyce is survived by her husband Larry Hollenbaugh and his family; daughters Vicki Adkins of Marion and Angela Echelberry of Westerville, Ohio; son Lyle Echelberry of Bucyrus; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

Joyce graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1951. Joyce was a secretary for her son’s Stanley Steamer business in the “70”s and worked at Millington, Lawson’s and Home Shopping Network in Florida and mainly was a homemaker. She was a member of the Word of Life Christian Center in Marion and had taught Sunday School at the Assembly of God Church in Bucyrus. Joyce was very religious and enjoyed church functions, singing hymns, reading the Bible daily, crafts, painting, crocheting, knitting, ceramics and she was also proficient in sign language. Joyce was also giddy and funny and will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 3, 2026, at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, 215 N. Walnut St., Bucyrus, burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
