Biography: Josh (Joshua) L. Byrum, 35 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday April 12 at Heartland of Bucyrus following a 3 year battle with Wilsons Disease. Josh was born Jan. 17, 1983 in Galion to Rodney Byrum and Renee (Sandlin) Fisher both of Bucyrus who both survives. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Eskell and Wanda Sandlin, paternal grandmother Nellie Byrum, great grandmothers; Helen Williams of Prospect, Ohio, and Lillian Sandlin of Bucyrus, and uncles Russ and Shannon Byrum.
Josh is survived by children Kaleb Byrum of Upper Sandusky, Kadence Musselman and Seth Williams both of Bucyrus; paternal grandfather Carroll Byrum of Bucyrus; sisters Shena (Steve) Meeks, Bucyrus; Jessica (Travis) Stuckert of Bucyrus; Lacey Livermore of Youngstown, Maternal Aunt Pam (Chuck) Shannon of Canton, Ohio, and 7 nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.
Josh attended Cardington H.S. and lived most of his life in Bucyrus, and in Morrow County. He last worked for Aspen Tree Service. Josh was a member of Victory in Truth Ministries and was involved in Narcotics Anonymous. He enjoyed fishing, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and going to sporting events. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, and doing his best to help others in recovery.
A Celebration of Josh’s life will be held on Sunday April 22, 2018 in the VFW 1078 Annex (Former Swan Union Hall) at 2:00 pm. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service. A meal will follow the 2:00 pm service and those attending are asked to please bring a covered dish.
