Joe Turner

Biography: Joe Turner, 74 of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday January 10, 2019 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Joe was born March 13, 1944 in Martin, KY to the late Lester and L. Faye (Damron) Turner.  He was married April 5, 1975 to Deb (Malcolm) Turner who survives.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Shannon.


Joe is also survived by sons Shannon (Tammy) Turner of Perrysville, OH and Jim (Carrie) Turner of Bucyrus; grandchildren Blaze (Julie), Felisha, Keria (Jay) Bosler, Star, Brealynn, Gage, and Shelby Turner; brother Jerry Moore of Sunbury and sister Gwen Tottingham of Norwalk.


Joe retired from General Dynamics as a builder of the M1 A1 Tank.  He moved to this area in 1967 and was known for his passion for cars.  He was a kind man who loved everyone and had no enemies.


Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
