Jim K. Barber

Jim K. Barber, age 73, went to be with the Lord February 13th, 2026. Jim was born to the late Charles and Edith (Clark) Barber August 17, 1952 in Bucyrus Ohio. Jim married the love of his life Kay (Clevenger) Barber January 5, 1974 and they renewed their vows at 50 years on January 7, 2024. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lester, Bill, and Ralph; sisters, Judy, Maxine, Robin, and Sandra; and grandchild, Jessie Onie.

Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kay Barber; children, Kathy (Matt) Connolly, and Christy (Joe) Molgaard Jim (Lisa); brother, Charles Barber; sister, Anna (Merle) Goodman; grandchildren, Ashley, Meridith, Christian, Emily, Joshua, Bailey, Grace, Marie, and Donovan; 4 great-grandkids and one more on the way; dogs, Tazz & Teddy; cat, Mr. Kuddles. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Jim worked as an automotive mechanic for most of his life. He and Kay were members at Bucyrus First Alliance Church. In his spare time he enjoyed working with wood, going fishing, and playing video games. He had a model train and track he worked on from time to time, playing euchre with the family and friends, his most important things in life were God and his family. Jim loved to laugh, joke, and would always be one to give you a smile.

The family invites friends to join them for a celebration of life service Wednesday February 18, at the Bucyrus First Alliance Church at 11:30AM. Friends are welcome to come an hour early to visit prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Parkinsons Foundation.
