Janice Ann Long

Janice Ann Long, 84 of Bucyrus passed away on Sunday December 31, 2023 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.  Janice was born July 3, 1939 in Sulphur Springs, OH to the late Richard and Wilma (Smith) Pfleiderer.  She was also preceded in death by sister Mary Lou King and brother Michael Pfleiderer.

Janice is survived by children Rick (Rose) Rossman of North Carolina, Vicky (George) Delaney of Bucyrus, and Jessica Long of North Carolina; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; and her beloved pet dog “Lulu”.

Janice graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 1957.  She grew up in Sulphur Springs and after living in different areas returned to Bucyrus 5 years ago.  Janice was a member of the VFW Post 1078 Ladies Aux.

The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Saturday January 6, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon where services will be held at noon.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Crawford County Humane Society and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
