James “Mike” Michael Clark, age 75, passed away April 26th, 2026, at Avita Ontario Hospital. Mike was born to the late James Melvin and Della Mae (Akers) Clark June 25, 1950 in Portsmouth Ohio. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Lou Clark; sisters, Mary Jane (Danny) Thomas, Doris (Galen D.) Ratliff; grandson, Logan Bayless; brother-in-laws, Edward Ridgeway and Dennis Blackburn.
Mike is survived by children, Christine “Chrissy” Lawrence, Sharon (Earl) Pelfrey, and Steven “Tony” (Kara) Stansbery; brother, Roger (Cheryl) Clark; sisters, Millie Blackburn, Barbara Ridgeway, and Julie (Robie) McGlone; grandchildren, Kevin, Austin, Rylie, Harmony, Myles, Jaxon, Zander, Anyanka, and Luke; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Mike was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 181, VFW 1078, former Amvets Post 27 member, and a former member of the Moose Lodge #669. Mike worked for 30+ years at Guardian Glass of Upper Sandusky. He loved going out on road trips, driving around town, and going fishing. Mike attended local car shows regularly and had an El Camino he considered his pride and joy. He gardened and canned most of his life, Mike was a landlord and made many friends and connections through that job as well. He loved his dogs, family, and friends very dearly.
The family will receive friends at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home May 1st, from 12PM-1PM. There will be a service following the visitation at 1PM. Burial to follow at Oceola Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association or to the Crawford County Humane Society. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.com
