James “Jim” Edward Vanichek

Biography: James “Jim” Edward Vanichek, age 74, passed away at home May 6, 2019. Jim was born to the late John R. and Marcella (Reed) Vanichek January 24, 1945 in Huron County Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Brenda Vanichek and brother John Butch Vanichek.
Jim is survived by children, Charlotte Patterson (Jeff Starlin), Teresa J. Cady, Patricia Patterson, John(Jessica) Vanichek, and Eddie Vanichek; sisters,Connie (Ken) Montgomery and Bonnie (Larry) Artz, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Jim was a graduate of Buckeye Central High School. He enjoyed fishing, going to the lakes, and was a member of the Crawford County Conservation League. Jim had a passion for woodworking and building model boats and airplanes.
